Prior to joining Cape Fear Cardiology Associates, he was an associate with Delaware Cardiovascular Associates in Dover, Delaware, and severed as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Dr. Munugoti was instrumental in getting Cape Fear Cardiology’s Nuclear and Echocardiography Laboratories fully accredited. He introduced Fayetteville to CT coronary angiography. He was the first Board Certified physician for this new line of cardiac diagnostic testing within the city.
