She earned her Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and went on to work as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist in the adult cardiac cath lab at Duke University Hospital. During this time, she gained valuable hands-on experience caring for patients with coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, and structural heart disease. She later earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Methodist University.<br \/><br \/>Cassidy values building strong relationships with her patients through open communication and education.
